This newsletter features the writing and research of faculty, staff, students, and friends of the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Doctor of Business Administration program. Doctoral Chevrons is published three times a year in February, June, and October.

Call for Student Submissions

We are accepting student submissions for upcoming editions of Doctoral Chevrons. Submissions discussing business research, theory, or applied business practice are welcome. Each piece should be between 500-1500 words and must follow APA guidelines. For consideration, please submit your work to mcollins@smumn.edu.

MIAC votes to continue to plan for winter competitions

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Presidents’ Council approved Monday, Dec. 14, to continue to plan for the possibility of competitions during the winter sports seasons. The council will reconvene in mid January to confirm plans for basketball and ice hockey regular seasons and indoor track and field championships.

Franke completes summer internship at clinic in Spain

Senior Danielle Franke was able to uniquely blend her biology and Spanish majors through an eight-week summer internship in Spain last summer. At a medical clinic in Spain, she received an invaluable clinical experience before she prepares to apply to medical school.
