Saint Mary’s University recognized outstanding students, faculty, and staff April 15 at the Student Life Awards Ceremony. Individuals who have exhibited outstanding leadership and service through co-curricular activities at Saint Mary’s were recognized.

But over the past month, five students from Saint Mary’s and four students from MSC Southeast have been collaborating on the rapid innovation, planning, and launch of hypothetical products.

The Saint Mary’s University Department of Music will present the “Spring Sings with Strings” choir concert on Saturday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Saint Mary of the Angels, 1155 W. Wabasha St. The spring concert will feature performances by the Saint Mary’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, conducted by Dr. Patrick O’Shea, music professor at Saint Mary’s.
Dr. Eleonore Stump of Saint Louis University will discuss “Temperance: Gifts/Fruits of the Holy Spirit” as the fourth presenter in Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota’s Cardinal Virtue Series on Thursday, April 25.
On April 8, the School of Education hosted “Future Teacher Day,” a day to encourage area high school students to consider a career in education. Fourteen students from Chatfield, Cochrane Fountain-City, and St. Charles high schools attended.
On April 7, two School of Education organizations, Kappa Delta Pi and ASCD, hosted a teacher panel made up of eight first-year teachers who graduated last year.
