Reverse the COVID-19 trend, make smart choices
Minnesota’s COVID-19 case counts have been climbing since June, especially in the 18- to 24-year-old age group. These COVID-19 cases have occurred as a result of people gathering without social distancing at bars, restaurants, and house parties. We understand the temptation you may be feeling, particularly because you haven’t seen one another for a long period of time. But, if we are to keep Saint Mary’s learning on ground — and keep everyone safe — our expectation is that students, staff, and faculty will not put themselves in situations where social distancing and mask wearing are not being observed.
