DBA students and faculty present at 2020 Midwest Academy of Management annual conference
The Midwest Academy of Management held its annual conference on Oct. 26-30. Originally scheduled to be held at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, the conference was held virtually due to COVID-19.

Huether conference, Nov. 19-21, now virtual
The theme of this year’s virtual Huether Lasallian Conference, scheduled for Nov. 19-21, is “Great Things are Possible: Our Lasallian Mission Reimagined and Renewed.” The annual conference gathers Lasallians from across our region.

Dr. Erich Lippman, associate professor of history in the Department of History and Social Sciences on the Winona Campus, was recently published.

Canvas migration infographic created
As part of the ongoing process to keep the Saint Mary’s community aware of the migration from Blackboard and Engage to Canvas, the LMS task force has created an infographic to help summarize where the university has been, is currently, and will be in the months/terms to come.

Canvas essentials trainings
In this Saint Mary’s-led Canvas training, you will learn some of the basics around Canvas including: creating an announcement, how to create assignments, how to grade assignments, and more.
Cardinal Update Live scheduled for Nov. 19
Additional meetings for all faculty and staff are being added in an effort to provide progress reports, share news of interest, and celebrate our teamwork and outcomes. These meetings, called Cardinal Update Live, will take place virtually on Zoom over the lunch hour, from noon to 1 p.m. The next event is Thursday, Nov. 19.
Looking for stories of kindness for candlelight service
Campus Ministry is inviting students, faculty, and staff to submit stories in which they have been the recipients of kindness or know of kindnesses shown within, or originating from, the Saint Mary’s community.
