Saint Mary’s has required masks or face coverings in common areas, classrooms, and in-person meetings since early July. As of July 25, per an executive order from Minnesota’s governor, all people in Minnesota are required to wear a face covering in all public indoor spaces and businesses, unless alone.
Times of uncertainty often bring innovation and creativity. The COVID-19 outbreak is no different as students across the world find ways to come together while apart. A recent article in The Chronicle of Higher Education highlights the ways students from across the world are recreating campus life from home.
In light of ongoing recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to limit the spread of COVID-19 and its impact on our community, the university will continue to offer all graduate and bachelor’s completion courses online through summer term 1, May 4-June 28, and will cancel or postpone all events currently scheduled through May 31.
