You’re invited to apply to be a Countdown to College (C2C) counselor this summer. The position is paid, and is a three-week commitment in July.
Four Saint Mary’s students presented their research for Scholars at the Capitol March 11. During the event, these students had an opportunity to engage with several Minnesota lawmakers, who asked to review their research papers. A legislator also asked one of our students to potentially testify at a committee meeting related to a proposed bill. According to Dan Bucknam, Ph.D., “It was a great intersection between public policy and science.”
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s direction to “stay home,” beginning Friday, March 27, and continuing for two weeks, means students will not be able to return to campus during this time frame.
