Members of the Saint Mary’s community presented breakout sessions at the 2019 Huether Lasallian Conference which took place in Minneapolis Nov. 21-23. Themed “Living the Lasallian Mission: Celebrating with Zeal,” the 46th annual conference gathered more than 200 Lasallians.
Recently, graduates of the M.A. in ESL program and a Saint Mary’s alumna co-presented with Program Director Shannon Tanghe at the Minnesota English Language Education (MELEd) conference in St. Paul. Faculty member Dr. De Zhang also delivered a session with Tanghe.
Linet Makori, a student in the M.S. in Data Intelligence and Geoanalytics program, received a 2019-20 International Fellowship from the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Her work looks at barriers women face in education and their means of overcoming them.
